Description

Based on the poem from the Poetic Edda. If you would like to read the full poem click here: Odin's Runesong. To sum it up, Odin sacrificed himself to himself by hanging for nine days and nights on the world tree Yggdrasil in order to gain the secret of the runes. This is my interpretation of that scene based on a resurection suspension.

wonderful work! I saw it on youtube. I recently tried some work with clay, but it does not seam to react well to smaller scale sculptures. I must get my hands on this super sculpty I keep hearing about
