This is a continuous series so I'm always making
new ones. However the Perma-Pets shown were created in March 2007.

| Description |
Here are all the Perma-pets I have finished so far
(minus the very first octopuppy
which has it's own page). There are 3 cuddlefish, a nudibranch and an
octopuppy. The purple nudribranch and one more octopuppy are awaiting
their resin.
The scientific name for sea slugs is nudibranch
(which is kind of cool anyway). The crazy thing is the colors aren't
even as wild and bright as the real ones can get. The bottom photo of
the painted cuddlefish actually shows the colors most accurately. I
think I like the big green one best. These little guys are based on the
cuttlefish which are not fish at all but are cephalopods like squid, I
should be sent to Pun Hell for calling them cuddlefish but I thought it
was cute and went well with octopuppy
According to Xelados on #pixelation the cuddlefish
look like baby Cthulu (Cthulus? I'm not sure what the plural of that
would be). Now I'm a big H.P. Lovecraft fan but I think they're too
cute to be Cthulu.

These are in the Elements Gallery in Bethel ME.
However if you would like a Perma-pet of your own please contact me and let me know
the creature (octopuppy, cuddlefish, or nudibranch) you'd like and in
what colors. They are $65 plus shipping (US only). Some are
also available for sale on my web store.

Who thinks nudibranchs aren't cute? I love the way you've rendered them
with so much motion.
