Description

In celtic folklore selkies were women who lived beneath the sea and took the form of seals. They could choose to emerge from their seal shape and walk on land, sometimes even marrying mortal men.

This is my interpretation of a selkie rising from the sea tearing away her seal shape and revealing the woman underneath it.

This sculpt is just amazing. I have only started creating my own sculpts, and have no formal art training. I'm struggling with basic like hands! but love creating the torso and have two water spirits evolving that I'm having a bit of tuition with a friend on...I'm very inspired by your sculpts.
Wow!
